Teriyaki which is kanji: 照り焼き in Japan, is a cooking technique used in Japanese cuisine in which foods are being broiled or grilled with a soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. In this recipe, we will make a Filipino style pork teriyaki where we will be using ingredients that are always available in our pantry.

SIMPLE Pork Teriyaki | Pork in Calamansi, Soy Sauce and Oyster Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1/2 kg pork (bite size)
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp seasoning granules
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
Procedure:
- Prepare all the ingredients.
- Marinate bite size pork with soy sauce, calamansi juice, and pepper overnight.
- In a pan, add cooking oil.
- Saute garlic and onions.
- Add and saute tomatoes.
- Add bite size pork.
- Continue sauteing.
- Wait until the pork is cooked
- Add water.
- Add seasoning granules.
- Wait until the liquid is reduced.
- Add oyster sauce.
- Stir
- Cover and wait until the liquid is reduced further.
- Saute and serve hot.
