How to Cook Pinoy Spaghetti | Party Size Recipe | Pang Negosyo Recipe

Spaghetti is a pasta that is long, thin, solid, and cylindrical in structure. It is originated in Italy. Like other pasta, spaghetti is made of wheat and water which are enriched with vitamins and minerals. In the Philippines, every birthday party is served with spaghetti usually the sauce is on the sweet side compared to the Italian version. Most Filipinos like it sweet and even used banana ketchup instead of tomato sauce.

In this episode we will cook Filipino style spaghetti, party size.

Filipino Style Spaghetti
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 - 1 kg ground pork
  • 500 grams corned beef
  • 460 grams liver spread
  • 228 grams sausage
  • 1.4 kg tomato sauce
  • 10 pcs hotdogs
  • 240 ml pineapple juice
  • 460 grams pineapple tidbits
  • 320 grams banana ketchup
  • 330 grams grated cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 pork cubes (dissolve in hot water and add after the tomato sauce)
  • 3-5 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 head garlic
  • 4 onions
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp chili powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp ground pepper
  • 24 grams all-in-one seasoning
  • 1/8 cup fish sauce (approximation)
  • Spaghetti Pasta (according to Sauce available)
Procedure:
A. Sauce
  1. Prepare all the ingredients.
  2. In a pan, add cooking oil.
  3. Saute minced garlic
  4. Add onions.
  5. Add ground pork and continue cooking for about 7 -10 minutes.
  6. Add ground pepper and salt to taste.
  7. Set aside.
  8. On the same pan, add oil.
  9. Saute minced garlic and onion.
  10. Add hotdogs, sausage, corned beef and liver spread.
  11. Add the cooked ground pork
  12. Stir until well mixed.
  13. Add tomato sauce then ketchup.
  14. Simmer for about minutes.
  15. Add seasoning granules, ground pepper, chili powder, white sugar, bay leaves, beef cube and fish sauce to taste.
  16. Continue stirring, then add pineapple juice and tidbits.
  17. Simmer fro 5 to 10 minutes.
  18. Add cheese, continue cooking for 3-5 minutes.
  19. Set aside
B. Pasta
  1. In a bowl bring to boil 5 or more liters of water.
  2. Add salt to taste
  3. You may also add cooking oil.
  4. Add the Spaghetti noodles
  5. Cook according to cooking instruction found in the package.
  6. Drain the liquid.
  7. Put some of the noodle in the plate.
  8. Add sauce according to your liking
Note;
This sauce can be stored in a chiller for a day or two before serving, the taste will be much better.
